Concrete pads must cure for a minimum of 28 days prior to surfacing the court. Waiting allows the concrete to fully cure and will promote a stronger bond with the surface materials. A brushed, or rough, finish is ideal for adhesion of the products. Sports courts tend to stay in great shape anywhere from 4 to 8 years before they repeated coatings are required.
