From showing up on time, actively communicating throughout the job, and cleaning up after ourselves, we know that can satisfy all of your home remodeling needs. We started specializing in residential repaints, and then over the years developed into a complete one-stop-shop for your home remodeling and painting needs. Our customers were always asking us for more services than home painting, and since our customers come first, we delivered. We now provide efficient and affordable home remodeling services to all Utah homeowners.

Meet The Team
Steven Sutherland
Owner and Operations
Education/Certifications: B.S. Manufacturing Engineering with Plastics & Composites emphasis, OSHA
Steve has over 15 years of painting experience and makes sure that Rosewood Painting is operating at it’s maximum capacity. As the bridge between production and administration Steve keeps us moving forward smoothly and efficiently.
Guns, family time, hiking, reading, and projects around the house (like his indoor axe throwing range) keep Steve occupied when he’s not at work.
Mitchell Sutherland
Owner and Sales & Marketing
Education/Certifications: B.S. Tech Systems with Digital & Product Design emphasis, OSHA
Mitch has been with Rosewood Painting since 2013. With over 5 years of painting experience he handles our marketing, software integration, and is one of our production leads.
Mitch is a regional athlete for O’Brien Water sports wakeboard team. He regularly competes and loves to spend his time on the water. He also loves rock climbing, skiing, and being with his family. Mitch works hard so that he can play hard.
Paul Sutherland
Founder
Paul founded Rosewood Painting in 1989. For over 30 years now Paul has built Rosewood into a successful company focused on customer satisfaction. The business knowledge and experience Paul brings to the table is second to none.
Paul is very active in the outdoors and is constantly seeking out the next adventure. He loves to build things in his spare time and always seems to have a good book or documentary running in the background.
Tim Sessions
Sales
Education/Certifications: B.S. in Business Management, CCN Business & Sales Bootcamp
Tim has been a part of the Rosewood family since 1995. During that time he has helped us develop a streamlined sales system. Along with sales Tim takes care of customer service and satisfaction as well.
Aside from work Tim is passionate about running, basketball, and spending time with his family.
Ali Hoffman
Financial Officer
Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s in Accounting, Quickbooks Certified.
Ali has more than 25 years of financial experience and has been with Rosewood since 2001. She does a wonderful job at staying on top of all our bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reports.
In her spare time Ali loves doing activities with her children. Some of her other interests include fitness, hiking and traveling.
Chad Suzuki
Production Manager
Everyone loves Chad! We fully believe that there isn’t a better painter anywhere in the world. Chad has been here at Rosewood Painting since 1999 and has over 25 years of experience. He is a wealth of knowledge and is incredibly valuable to us. There is nothing Chad can’t handle!
Outside of work Chad is a tech guru. He loves fidgeting with computers and has handled a lot of IT issues that have come up.

Mitch and the Rosewood Team are true pros! Outstanding quality with great communication and attention to their clients’ budget. They recently repaired an exterior door for me that I was certain would need replacing. They did excellent work and saved me several thousand dollars compared to what a full replacement would have cost.
