Masonry Painting Brick & Stone
Recently Mauricio and his crew of three painted a beautiful brick home in Provo. The end result speaks for itself! The newly painted brick really brought new life to this home. Here at Rosewood we pride ourselves in getting projects completed as quickly and efficiently as possible. Even with a high degree of difficulty maneuvering the steep roof and replacing some of the siding we were able to get this job done in under two weeks.
If you’re considering painting over brick or stone we recommend you use a high quality product. We come across failing paint on masonry finishes all of the time because the paint used was a low quality product. Make sure to ask your painters about the product they are using so you don’t end up turning a low maintenance item into a constant headache. On this particular house we shipped Romabio paint in from Italy. Romabio is masonry specific paint with a 20 year warranty as long as it is applied correctly. Romabio Masonry offers a permanent flat finish with aggregate that creates a light texture on smooth brick and a smoother finish on rough brick. Romabio paint is a breathable coating that calcifies to the masonry surface allowing moisture to release.

Rosewood has done painting, flooring, upstairs and downstairs, 20 foot wood accent walls and repainted my exterior hardy plank.
